+ OUR PROMISE
"[W]e justly fear that we were sadly deluded and mistaken, for which
we are much disquieted and distressed in our minds; and do therefore humbly beg forgiveness."
--Petit Jurors, "Declaration of Regret"
We remember the Salem Witch Trials and its participants by associating their families and preserving their lineages. We share commercial, genealogical and historical information about the trials and its participants. We educate others about our group and promise.
+ NOTABLE DESCENDANTS AND RELATIVES
"Because I am falsely accused. I never did it."

Applying for membership or descendant membership with Bloodlines of Salem is easy. In fact, it's a lot easier than most hereditary family-history groups.
MEMBER
If you wish to apply for a membership, all we require is 1) your desire to be a member, 2) your agreement with our promise and 3) your name, city of residence and contact information. You won't be charged a registration fee, may use the postnominal abbreviation "MBoS," and may request at any time to cancel or change your membership.
DESCENDANT MEMBER
If you wish to apply for a descendant membership, all we require is your eligibility to be a member and proof beyond doubt your descent from or relationship to one or more participants of the trials with a pedigree. You won't be charged a registration fee, may use the postnominal abbreviation "DBoS," and may request at any time to cancel or change your membership.
The pedigree should include your name and date of birth, and the names, dates of birth and dates of death of your ancestors or relatives to and including the ancestor or relative who was a trials participant. If the pedigree can be verified using online-genealogy services, we will approve your application. If a part of the pedigree can't be verified, your membership will be registered, but we will invite you to provide additional digital or printed proof before your descendant membership will be registered.
For example:
(Person named first) was born on (date) at (location) and died on (date) at (location); and was married to (name) on (date) at (location), who was born on (date) at (location) and died on (date) at (location). The said (person named first) was a (son or daughter, or relative) of:
-
(Parent or relative of person named first) who was born on (date) at (location) and died on (date) at (location); and was married to (name) on (date) at (location), who was born on (date) at (location) and died on (date) at (location). The said (parent or relative of person named first) was a (son or daughter, or relative) of:
-
(Repeat for every generation of pedigree).
